My11th Grade Planner
Take MyTest
Take the SAT and/or ACT; college entrance exams, should be taken as soon as you are able in order to re-take them later, if needed. Additionally, you will want to take all the AP (advanced placement) Exams for any courses you have completed, saving you time and the cost of college hours. If your school does not offer these exams, ask your Guidance Counselor for optional testing locations.
MyActivities
Visit with your Guidance Counselor, Coaches and/or Teachers. Let them know if you are planning to continue activities into college and ask for their assistance and recommendations.
MyCollege Selection
Make arrangements to visit the colleges you are interested in and then create a list of those you will be applying to. Continue discussions with your family about the resources required to attend the schools on your list. The College Search and College Cost and Tuition Calculator from the College Board can be useful tools.
