Get involved and explore your interests. Sports, clubs, politics, volunteering, travel and working will all create a wealth of knowledge and experience that may pay off during scholarship and college application time.

Now is the time to discuss with your family the cost of the college you’re planning to attend and to evaluate the resources available and those still needed. The College Cost and Tuition Calculator from the College Board can be a useful tool.
Begin MyScholarship Search
Now’s the time to learn what scholarships may be available for college. Networking and research are the keys. Start with your counselor, places of worship and family and friends. Also, request publications for colleges you may attend, from the state you live in and/or where you plan go to college. The more you know now the more likely you’ll be prepared when it’s time to apply. Here are just a few of the free online search tools available:
